Seattle Summit: A Huge Success

Seattle Summit: A Huge Success

The Helping Boys Thrive Summit in Seattle served more than 700 people and numerous local agencies and sponsors.  To see the agenda, please click here https://helpingboysthrive.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Helping-Boys-Thrive-Summit.pdf. Special guests included Kevin and Beverly Sherman, the parents of Super Bowl Champion Seahawks Richard Sherman, as well as numerous speakers and exhibits, and keynoters Michael Gurian and Gregory Jantz.  To learn more from a participant’s viewpoint, please check out this article by reporter Jennifer Marx.   We gratefully acknowledge the Center, A Place of Hope, the Center Foundation, and all the other event cosponsors for making this summit happen.  Many participants and sponsors have called it a “life-changing event,” and we are excited by the grass roots passion that is evolving in Seattle around the cause of boys’ development.

Our next Summit is scheduled for Phoenix on September 12th.  If you will be in that area then, please join us there.  Wherever you are located, we hope you will engage your colleagues to bring a Helping Boys Thrive Summit to your city.
